Hello All!!
I must begin this entry by commending the recruiting efforts of Clemson University for going deep into Pennsylvania's Amish country to get Ms. Ali Sutton to enroll at Clemson! Big time victory for Tiger recruiting. Talk about easy on the eyes! Her smile alone is good for my health. Forget about my health. Her smile is good for mankind. Her personality, friendliness, and everything else that makes Ali Ali, is genetic perfection. Robin, nice recruiting efforts of your own my friend! You may not match Ali stride for stride with the salsa dancing, but your infectious personality is second to none. I have seen first hand how happy you make one of my best friends, and I love you for that. Thank you.
The wedding was at a place called French Creek Golf Club. I have been to a fair share of golf course weddings, but this one was different. I felt like I was in/on some European Countryside. The natural beauty of the surroundings was second only to the beauty of the bride. This place was special.
As for the reception, had the chandeliers hanging above the dance floor been a bit more load bearing, I wouldn't have been the only one swinging from them. The dance floor was on fire, metaphorically at first, but then literally (with the help of some sparklers). Dance moves and drinks were going down like it was nobody's business. DJ Scribbles kept the place going crazy the whole night. While leaving the reception, the party bus turned into a college football watching, karaoke singing, party on wheels. I thought the bus was going to drive off the road during renditions of Old Crow Medicine Show's Wagon Wheel AND probably more so with South Korean rap sensation Psy's Gangnam Style!
Combine the wedding festivities with a weekend filled with pretty Clemson women, fun guys trying to justify how they landed said pretty women, and a boat load of Philly cheese steaks, and you get an incredibly good time.
Absence certainly does make the heart grow fonder. I had not seen many of the folks I saw this weekend in quite some time, but it was so incredible to just pick up where we left off years ago. It was incredible seeing you all.
Ali and Robin, the two of you are the best, and you are going to have really really ridiculously good looking children. There, I said it. Everyone was thinking it.
I hope to see you again soon.
Love,
Chops
PS.. Headed southbound on 95 with blonde bombshell Alison Alexander. In Virginia now!
