Hello All,
This past week I made my way from Oregon to Charleston, SC to take part in my dear friend Mariah Erickson's wedding!
I was fortunate enough to meet Mariah during our days rowing as undergrads at Clemson University. Although pint sized, Mariah has always packed quite a punch. Smart. Adorable. Feisty as all heck. And a real go getter. She is arguably one of the most successful student athletes, man or woman, in Clemson Crew history. As a young adult, she has continued to set the world on fire earning promotions faster than I earn... well, anything. It has been really wonderful to see all that she has accomplished at such a young age. I know I speak for so many of us when I say that we are very proud of her.
As for the wedding, it was beyond beautiful. It was so wonderful to see her marrying an absolute stand up guy in Randy Owen. This guy is as good as it gets and Mariah deserves nothing less. The sky is the limit for this new Charleston, South Carolina power couple!
While in South Carolina, I was also able to spend some time with a handful of my old Clemson pals too. I can't say we were on our best behavior, but we are all still vertical and breathing! It's always a good time catching up with you guys and I hope to see you again soon.
It has been a wild ride these last few weeks as I made my way from coast to coast assaulting wedding dance floors, climbing mountains, paddling rivers etc. Im in New York now but most likely on the move....
