Hello All,
Summer turned to Fall. When did that happen? Back in August thousands of homes were hit with severe flooding in Detroit, Michigan. We packed our things, made our way to the metro Detroit area and set up camp for our flood response team. With a month under our belt, we have completed work on 70 homes and counting! A big thank you goes out to the incredible team working around the clock here in Detroit to get the job done.
While here in Michigan, I have been lucky enough to mix in seeing some old friends in this part of the world and make some wonderful new ones.
Additionally, I made my way to South Carolina for a brief moment a few weeks back and just landed in Colorado for this upcoming week. I will be spending the first half of the week commemorating the 1 year anniversary of the flash floods here in Boulder that we responded to last fall. I'm excited to see just how far this community has come and to connect with the amazing friends NECHAMA made while out here responding in the mountains. I'll then be transitioning into CLEMSON wedding mode! Clemson's own, Patrick Ryan is marrying WAY UP to the lovely Yvette here on Saturday. Can't wait! Then it's back to work in Detroit.
