MISSISSIPPI TORNADO RESPONSE

Hello All,

I made my way down to Mississippi via Boston, Minneapolis and St Louis.  It wasn't the most direct route I don't think, but it's all good.  Our team is on the ground in Northern Mississippi responding to a few rural communities in need of serious help.  NECHAMA hit the ground running and we are looking to keep the momentum going until the needs of all those working to get back on their feet are met.  To date, we have contributed close to 2,000 hours of FREE labor and have worked with a dozen families in need.   We are clearing debris, salvaging homes, and running chainsaw teams.  NONE of this would be possible without the incredible efforts made by our good friends at the firehouse in Wren, Mississippi, our many partners in the disaster response world, and the power of volunteerism.  It's amazing to see what can be done when we work together towards bettering the lives of our fellow man.  There is a great response effort taking place down here in Mississippi.  I'm lucky to be a part of it.

Time to get back at it.

Hope all is well,
Mark/Chops
