TRAVELIN' TEXAS!

Hi Y'all,

I was invited down to Texas last week by the pride and joy of Lithuania, Ugne.  We met last summer while working our way up the pacific coast highway in California!  That's a story worth telling again.

Needless to say, it was NOT a tough decision to join her on a little southwestern adventure.  We were also lucky enough to be joined by our friends Michael and Gudren!  An All Star team of international misfits if I ever saw one.

Anyways, after flying down to San Antonio to meet up, we made our way to Big Bend National Park (it's the size of Rhode Island!) which is about 7 lightyears into West Texas and runs along the Mexico border.  Although VERY hot, the park is incredible!  I am fairly certain it was the the hottest place on the planet when we arrived on August 31st.  I was cooking bacon and eggs and boiling water on the sidewalk.  After 4 wonderful days down here spent searching for mountain lions. rattlesnakes, and climbing some mountains, we are on the move east across TEXAS!

Yeehaw!
